Amber Lader Attended The NACDL Sex Crimes Seminar In Savannah Georgia Representing ACDLA
Amber Ladner attended the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers Sex Crimes Seminar in Savannah Georgia this past week. Ladner, the current President of the Alabama Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, attended in order to participate in a new special committee of NACDL focused on the nationwide funding crisis for indigent defense.
The seminar itself focused on the evaluation and defense of sex crimes including sex abuse, child pornography, and sexual assault. Speakers at the two day seminar included computer experts, physicians, and other attorneys with expertise in handling such cases. Ladner also attended meetings with other criminal defense organization leaders from various states to discuss the indigent defense issues.
Ladner is the current President of the Alabama Criminal Defense Lawyers Association.
